Gluten free and vegan banana loaf


Banana loaf is one of my favourite gluten free things to bake- mainly because it’s so easy and also because it’s one of my favourite things to eat! 🙂

This is such a simple and fool-proof recipe, is gluten free and vegan and absolutely delicious!


45 minutes


3 bananas

180g gluten free self-raising flour blend (I use Doves Farm – Amazon – Freee Self-Raising Flour)

110g sugar

60g melted dairy-free butter

1/2 tsp. baking powder

Handful of dark chocolate chips


Preheat your oven to 180°C and grease a loaf tin.

Mash the bananas in a large bowl then add the sugar and melted butter and mix well. Then add the flour and baking powder and mix together. Add the optional chocolate chips and stir.

Spoon into the greased tin and pop in the oven for approx. 35 minutes until fully cooked.

Leave to cool (or not!!) then enjoy!
